IIT-JEE 2012 Expected Cutoff

IIT JEE 2012 board has announced publicly before the entrance exams of 2012 that the IIT JEE 2012 cutoff will be as per given below

IIT JEE 2012 Cut off For General Category of Students

Overall Cut Off will be 35 % and Subjective IIT JEE 2012 cut off will be 10%


IIT JEE 2012 Cut off For OBC category of students

Overall Cut Off will be 31.5% and subjective Cut off will be 9%

IIT JEE 2012 Cut off For SC and ST students

Overall CutOff will be 17.5% and subjective Cut off 5%

To explain:
if the paper is of 100 marks,
 a general candidate must score atleast 35 marks combined and atleast 10 marks in each of the three subjects

an OBC candidate must score atleast 31.5 marks combined and atleast 9 marks in each of the three subjects

a SC or ST candidate must score atleast 17.5 marks combined and atleast 5 marks in each of the three subjects
