AIEEE, NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI 2013 exams notification, eligibility, exam pattern and weightage is released by the CBSE board on the official website.  After the final decision and notification of MHRD department that JEE Apex board will manage the conduct of the JEE mains exam. It’s high time for the AIEEE, NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI to release their official notification.

The official notification regarding the AIEEE, NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI are released on the CBSE website which depicts that JEE mains exam will be known as AIEEE paper 1 for admission to B.Tech and B.E courses at NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI institutes.

The JEE 2013 mains exam which act as AIEEE exam will be held in two phrases- offline phrase and online phase.  The offline exam will expected to be held on 7th April 2012 and online exam will expected to be held after the offline exam.

The exams for B.Arch and B.Planning courses will be held on same date as of B.tech offline JEE mains exam. It is valid for NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI institutes. This exam is named as AIEEE paper 2.

The merit list of AIEEE exam for NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTT institutes will be based on the weightage of the class 12th marks such that 40 percent weightage is for the class 12th exams and 60 percent weightage is for the JEE mains exam.

It is confirmed that JEE mains exam will act as AIEEE exam and consist of multiple choice objective questions but here students are willing to know the syllabus of the mains exam. Earlier, it was predicted that mains will consist of aptitude type questions but this is wrong information.

According to notification of CBSE, The 2013 JEE mains exam( AIEEE) syllabus consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics objective questions and exam time will be of 3 hours.

The syllabus for the B.Arch and B.Planning course at NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI institutes include one question paper that include Mathematics, Aptitude test and drawing test, as per previous pattern of the AIEEE. The duration of the exam will be of 3 hours.

After the JEE mains exam, the 1.5 lakh students will be selected for the JEE advance exam. The JEE advance exam will be conducted by the IIT JAB. The advance exam merit will be made on the category basis such that General will get separate ranking, schedule caste/ schedule tribe will get separate ranking and OBC will get separate ranking.

  3. Almost all competition examinations made their syllabus in accordance with the cbse syllabus.So,its better to study in those schools which are CBSE affiliated.
