Fastest supercomputer by India till 2017
Apparently, after the affordable tablets, Ministry now has its focus on supercomputers, one that uproot Sequoia IBM as the world’s fastest supercomputer. The announcement came from the Union Minister of India for telecommunications and information technology, Kapil Sibal. Your homegrown supercomputer ranked at number 58 (of 500) worldwide. Of course, the government hopes to have this dream achieved only in 2017. India is all set to build the fastest supercomputer in 2017.

The CSIR Center is located in Bangalore India, offering superior performance of 303.9 teraflops. Telecom and IT MinisterKapil Sibal has reportedly written to Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh, detailing a Rs. 4700 crore investment for the next five years in research and development of the “range exaflop and petaflop supercomputer.
