Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in India-Exclusive Photos,Price and Specifications

After showing up through the online retailer Snapdeal for pre-order, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 price in India has finally been official confirmed for Rs. 39,900. Potential buyers will be able to get their hands on this device drenched in marble white or titanium grey.
As most are aware, the smartphone-cum-tablet munches on the Jelly Bean platform backed by a quad core processor with clock speeds of up to 1.6GHz. Users will have 16GB of internal memory for hoarding content, while an extra 64GB of storage can be added through the built-in microSD card slot. A large 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display sits pretty on the front with a 1.9MP camera for video conferencing.

In terms of price, one analyst says that Apple might launch the iPad Mini at a $250-$300 price point, cheap enough to convince customers that the iPad Mini is a Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire alternative. Some say it will not have Retina Display.

Reliance introduces My College Plan with free Facebook and WhatsApp access at Rs. 16

Reliance Communications (Rcom) has launched My College plan for pre-paid GSM customers. This CUG plan would offer unlimited access to Facebook and WhatsApp through your phone, SMS and Calls at 5p within the group. This plan is aimed at college students and is available for most of the colleges in select Reliance circles in India.
You can also convey a message to the entire college group with one-to-many SMS by texting your message to 51112 at Rs. 3.
To activate the My College Plan, you need to SMS SUB <College ID> to 5111. You can get the college IDs from the Reliance site. This plan will be auto-renewed every 30 days. To unsubscribe you can SMS UNSUB <college ID> to 51111.

Company CEO Sunit Tuli says “Supplies are on to IIT Bombay. In the next few weeks, it should be launched. I do not have the exact date, but HRD Minister ( Kapil Sibal) has said he wants to launch on the anniversary date which is October 5,”

Apple Now Wants Another $707 Million From Samsung!!

Well, according to Apple’s lawyers, the company wants $535 million for design infringement and $121 million to compensate for Samsung’s earnings whilst the original jury was out deliberating. There’s also and addition $50 million of payment interest on damages through December 31. 

                               
Samsung, for its part, has asked for a retrial and also said that it would add the recently released iPhone 5 to its patent trials in the United States.
