JEE Main 2013 Application Form for IIT, AIEEE & Others-Detailed Information

JEE Main 2013 Application forms will be available at the official website at www.jeemain-edu.in, there will be no physical sale of application form, candidates can fill the form online only at the website. The forms will be available from 1st November 2013, Eligible candidates interested in admission in various institutes (IIT, NITs, DTUs or other CFTIs) under B. Tech/ B.Arch programs can apply for the exam.

                                               

After the decision of Union of Human Resource development  it has been cleared that from 2013 onward  the entrance exam for admission into IITs, NITs, DTU’s & Other centrally funded institutes will be done after a central exam known as JEEE Main & JEE Advance. Application forms of JEE main will not be sale offline, the candidate have to fill the form online only at JEE main official website www.jeemain-edu.in, The forms will be available from 1st November 2012.

To help candidates with filling the application form online, CBSE has released the list of facilitation centers (help centers) across all over country, candidates can take help from them free of cost (Click here to get the list of State-wise facilitation centers)

A detailed information brochure will be released in late October 2012.

JEE main 2013 exam will be held online and offline. The online exam will be held on 7th April 2013 but the offline examinations will be held between 8th April to 30th April 2013.

There will be two papers, Paper 1 for B Tech aspirants and paper 2 for B.Arch aspirants. for those the JEE main application form will be available from 1 November 2012 on the official website of JEE.

Once the forms are available, you can fill the form easily by following these simple steps

Goto the official website at www.jeemain-edu.in and click on the JEE main 2013 form

• Fill all the necessary details carefully and submit
• A confirmation page will appear with your registration number,
• Take a print out of that page and note down your registration number
• Sign and put your thumb impression on that printed confirmation page and mention your residential address on that page.
• Now make a demand draft of an amount equal to the application fees amount and send the confirmation page along with the demand draft to the concern JEE Main office before the last date (the address will be revealed on the official website in late October).

Note:you can make the payment of the application fees amount online using credit card or debit card.

• Once done, you will get the admit card  for your JEE Main 2013 exam

IIT JEE latest updates of JEE Mains and JEE Advance exam 2013

According to new rule if any student have not satisfied with his/her marks in 12th board in year 2012 can re-appear in 2013 to improve his/her performance in their respective boards.Second chance is given  to student so they can improve their performance  in their respective board. Also same will help him/her to take admission in Indian Institutes of Technology’s  (IITs) , NITs ,IIITs and other government funded engineering colleges.

Main point is that candidate should appear in all subject in 12th improving exam of his/her board after that he/she can eligible for admission but if any individual passed improving 12th exam with partial subject can’t sit in counselling.

• Selected  students take admission in IITs and ISMU Dhanbad after passing the two tier test.

Pratish Dutta, A Blind Student Tops IIT –KGP And Receives Gold Medal From President

He received the Professor Jagadish Chandra Bose Memorial Gold Medal from President Pranab Mukherjee. Pratish was awarded for the best academic performance among outgoing students of the M.Sc courses in the science disciplines at the IIT. He is from the department of mathematics.

“His mother would read out his lessons to him,” said Pratish’s father Prabir Datta. “All the credit goes to his mother. He even ranked second in the country in GATE this year. We feel so proud. My boy is no different… Rather, he has proved better than many,” Datta said.

 Ranjana her mother turned a full-time reader for her son and when he cracked IIT-JEE , she moved to Kharagpur with him. Pratish and his mother live in a rented apartment on the IIT-Kgp campus. “

New Information of Jee Main 2013

In pursuance of MHRD’s directions and subsequent decision of the JEE Apex Board on JEE (Main) and (Advanced) held on 25.08.2012, the JEE (Main) Examination, 2013 (hitherto known as AIEEE – Paper I) for admissions to B.E./B.Tech courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held during April, 2013.
The JEE (Main) (Paper I of earlier AIEEE) for B.E./B.Tech will be held in two modes, viz offline and online (CBT). The offline examination for JEE (Main) will be held on 7th April, 2013 and the online examinations will be held thereafter in April, 2013.

AIEEE, NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI 2013 exams notification, eligibility, syllabus, pattern and weightage

AIEEE, NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI 2013 exams notification, eligibility, exam pattern and weightage is released by the CBSE board on the official website.  After the final decision and notification of MHRD department that JEE Apex board will manage the conduct of the JEE mains exam. It’s high time for the AIEEE, NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI to release their official notification.

AIEEE, NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI Notification 2013

The official notification regarding the AIEEE, NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI are released on the CBSE website which depicts that JEE mains exam will be known as AIEEE paper 1 for admission to B.Tech and B.E courses at NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI institutes.

The JEE 2013 mains exam which act as AIEEE exam will be held in two phrases- offline phrase and online phase.  The offline exam will expected to be held on 7^th April 2012 and online exam will expected to be held after the offline exam.

The merit list of AIEEE exam for NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTT institutes will be based on the weightage of the class 12^th marks such that 40 percent weightage is for the class 12^th exams and 60 percent weightage is for the JEE mains exam.

It is confirmed that JEE mains exam will act as AIEEE exam and consist of multiple choice objective questions but here students are willing to know the syllabus of the mains exam. Earlier, it was predicted that mains will consist of aptitude type questions but this is wrong information.

According to notification of CBSE, The 2013 JEE mains exam( AIEEE) syllabus consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics objective questions and exam time will be of 3 hours.

The syllabus for the B.Arch and B.Planning course at NIT, IIIT, DTU and CFTI institutes include one question paper that include Mathematics, Aptitude test and drawing test, as per previous pattern of the AIEEE. The duration of the exam will be of 3 hours.

After the JEE mains exam, the 1.5 lakh students will be selected for the JEE advance exam. The JEE advance exam will be conducted by the IIT JAB. The advance exam merit will be made on the category basis such that General will get separate ranking, schedule caste/ schedule tribe will get separate ranking and OBC will get separate ranking.

Are 2012 class 12th pass out students eligible for IIT-JEE 2013 exams?

The students who got less marks or percentage in 2012 board examinations will be given chance to improve their marks in 2013 board examinations. As far as the 2011 class 12^th pass out students are concerned then I donot think they have a bright future in IIT-JEE 2013.

The MHRD Notification does not cover anything about the 2011 batch students, which means 2011 students are not eligible for the IIT-JEE 2013 exams.

Only the  1.5 lakh students will be selected after the JEE mains exam. The admission to IIT-JEE 2013 will be made on the basis of All India rank in JEE advance exam, subject to the condition that students must be among the top 20 percent successful candidates of class 12^th board examinations.

The organization that manages the smooth working of the IIT-JEE  mains exam and IIT-JEE advance exam is JEE Apex board( JAB). The JAB will be led by CBSE secretariat and it manages the JEE mains exam.

As far as  JEE advance exam is concerned then IIT JAB manages the advance exam. 

The class 12^th pass out students of batch 2012, who wish to give improvement examination for the 2013 IIT-JEE eligibility criteria can appear in the 2013 board examination.
